Probe Records opened up for business in Liverpool in 1970, Since then it moved a few times before opening its doors on Button St in 1976. It was then that the music scene changed forever and in 1981 Probe started to distribute records inconjunction with Rough Trade and in the same year Probe released their first record. Since then Geoff has released loads of stuff and when the shop closed as part of a redevelopment the record label took off and now here we are on the web.......
